T-Shirt Description (Product Page)
This design isn’t fictional — it’s personal.
While locked up in Baker County Jail, the food was so bad I went days barely able to eat. I was shell-shocked from conviction, mentally numb, and physically worn down. I felt like a zombie — just existing, not living. That’s why the green slime pours from his mouth. It’s not gore. It’s disgust. It’s starvation. It’s survival.
The orange jumpsuit and slides are real. Those hard plastic jail slides bruised the tops of my feet and sounded like horse hooves on concrete. Workouts were miserable — but I did them anyway. Because quitting wasn’t an option.
This artwork was drawn inside the jail by another inmate. I paid him in ramen noodles. I mailed the drawing home because I knew one day I’d be free — and I’d want to turn something traumatic into something positive.
This shirt isn’t about glorifying jail.
It’s about enduring it, surviving it, and coming out the other side stronger.
